Art & Life

December 20, 2017

Early

Wednesday. Watched a Netflix series on the tablet last night while foggy from the afternoon indulgences (perhaps you need to get them out of your system now and again, hopefully more again than now) to turn the lights out not long after nine, awakening at five-thirty feeling much better. A little chilly out there, but still, better.

A walk to breakfast with watering eyes and runny nose to arrive and have the oatmeal, toast, fruit cup and coffee breakfast. We still have quite a bit of stuff we picked up at the supermarket left in the kitchen, but the “things to be avoided” have pretty much all been consumed and we're going to take it more cautiously for the while.

Home to document the change in regular gas prices at the station across from the café and take the usual set of pictures. The shutter speed is too low at f 8 and the images are out of focus and so I need to correct that. I could blame it on the camera (funky camera!), but that won't get it corrected. We'll go with the real perp.

Perp?

We're teetering at the edge of babble here. Can't blame it on the diet, but would if we could.

Later. Tired all day long, tired and a little wobbly. If that makes any sense. Carryovers from yesterday I'm guessing, but naps, tablet and television today and not much else. Put off a trip to the ATM and card shop until tomorrow, which is fine, but that's what's gotten done this day.

Evening. Still tired, to bed early.

The photograph was taken at the Oakland 2008 Holiday Parade with a Nikon D3 mounted with a 70 - 200mm f 2.8 Nikkor G lens at 1/3200th second, f 2.8, ISO 200.
