Sight

Tuesday. Lights out again just after nine to awaken at a quarter to six to then do the usual dawdling before getting up and preparing to head out to breakfast. Clear skies, they're still saying no rain in the coming days, maybe weeks, and so an easy walk, albeit cold, with the eyes watering and nose running, to breakfast.

Had the plain waffle with sliced bananas and strawberries, fruit cup and coffee over the three papers that were mostly reporting news I'd read online yesterday, but such is our current environment.

The walk home, the usual pictures. Again sunny, a bit warmer, returning home always seemingly shorter and faster than the walk to breakfast. Nothing on the schedule today other than finishing that last sixteenth episode of Stranger. I do need to go by an ATM later and I do need to take more pictures if I'm going to have anything to run other than all this deathless prose. Don't you nose?

Later. I must admit I fought the idea of heading to the Broadway ATM, but after watching more of the Stranger series (we're finally well into that last episode), I put a camera in the backpack and caught the bus to Broadway, hit the ATM and then walked to the bus stop on Grand. The watch said I had six minutes before it arrived and so decided to cross over to the construction site, take what pictures I could find and then, if I missed the bus when I returned, walk home. We're out feeling pretty good, why just scurry back inside?

Pictures taken and crossing the street back to the bus stop, saw the bus waiting at the light on Grand at Webster and ran, meeting and boarding the bus. So, some pictures that looked as if they were taken by a hurried beginner, a bus to the 7-11 look-alike thinking strawberry ice cream to find they were out of strawberry ice cream and so picked up two small bags of peanuts and ate them as I was walking to home then ten crash on the bed. Tired. Bad, because I really hadn't done enough to be tired; good, because I'd gotten in the exercise.

Evening. Finished the last Stranger episode. Enough tablet watching for a lifetime while. Decent ending, though, the bad guys caught, but the next in line wanna be bad guys slipping into their place. No riding into the sunset, graft is graft and forever active just out of sight. Mostly just out of sight.

The photo up top was taken while walking home from breakfast this morning with a Nikon 1 V 1 camera mounted with a 32mm f 1.2 Nikon 1 Nikkor lens.
