Sleep
Thursday. To sleep not all that long after ten, which is good, to awaken or at least “half awaken” at four and take thirty minutes to get back to sleep until six-thirty. Not halfway bad when it's all strung together, but felt tired getting up after listening to the last half of Democracy Now! and driving to the Lakeshore ATM on the way to breakfast. Interesting to see the Chevron station by the bank was advertising regular at four seventy-five a gallon, twenty six cents more than the Mobile station across from my restaurant.
Parked by the 7-11 store and entered the indoor dining room to take my usual place with the papers at the table. Only one other customer arrived to sit inside while I was there.
The single pork chop, scrambled eggs, country potatoes, toast, fruit cup and coffee feeling a little hungry, finishing up by nine to walk back over to the car and drive straight home under still heavily overcast skies, arriving to take the selfie in the lobby and settle in at the computer after visiting the bathroom. Nice of the alimentary canal to hold off until I'd arrived. Finished and posted yesterday's entry, processed the morning's pictures and started here.
Not particularly tired since leaving for breakfast, but I'm thinking I'll set out for Oregon on Sunday rather than tomorrow. Still too much to do in preparation as I won't be taking the laptop with me and will use my sister's computer to make necessary payments and such on the web when I arrive. Need to go over my list of things to do and I need the extra time to get them done.
Later. Stopped the papers and the mail starting on Sunday and Monday, so I guess Sunday is the day we set out for Oregon. Set up the new blood pressure machine, it's more complicated than you'd expect sending its readings to an app on your phone and saving them for future reference or, if you want, also sending them to your doctor's office.
Check lists done and so back to watching/listening to the news and watching more Chicago Med episodes on the tablet.
Evening. Watched the beginning of Vera at eight, bailed after some thirty minutes and went to bed, lights out after nine. Maybe we'll get lucky and manage another decent night's sleep?
