Bailing
Sunday. Lights out after ten to awaken just before six to listen to Counterspin and TUC Radio before getting up and driving to the Lakeshore ATM and then on over the hill to breakfast on a bright sunny morning. A little too bright for the eyes sitting outside at my table reading the papers.
The plain waffle with sliced bananas and strawberries, fruit cup and coffee for breakfast, finishing up well after nine to set out for the car, taking a picture of a flower I haven't photographed before, heading then straight home to take the selfie in the lobby and settle in here at the computer.
Later. Good news from my cousin in Washington as he seems to have recovered from COVID-19, out of the hospital with the temperature now normal over these last several days.
Watched the PGA tournament starting at noon, realized the leaders weren't going to tee off for another couple of hours and so settled in with the tablet to watch the balance of a Bruce Willis shoot'em up movie of no particular merit or sense to it, but with lots of bad guys and bullets whizzing about before returning to the tournament.
I noticed while driving to breakfast there was a large trash container set next to the construction site just up the street and so a walk up for a look taking the usual three pictures plus one to document their progress. Looks like they've definitely started up construction again so we'll continue taking pictures. Walked back halfway down the hill to see what was up over at the lake. Not as many people as there's been on weekends past, not sure what it looks like though along Lakeshore on the other side of the lake where the really big crowds have gathered.
Evening. Not tired at least, no like yesterday anyway. Stayed up long enough to check out Endeavour that started at nine and ended up watching it for over an hour before bailing.
