Should Go Well
Friday. Well, we must give the usual salute to the fact that it's a Friday and the weekend has arrived. TGIF, here in the United States, TFIF I am reliably informed in Scotland, the four letters scribbled everywhere, the "“F” standing for the usual suspect. I guess you're never too old to learn.

I should probably not drink a great deal of sake this evening, even though I still have a bottle sitting in the kitchen.

And why, pray tell?

Because there were three bottles sitting in the kitchen Wednesday after work and now there is but one. Two days, two bottles: the next mornings, although fine, could have been finer; the brain, although buzzing, could have been buzzing less; the evenings, although enjoyable, although mellow, although (perhaps) necessary, were evidently not what I was looking for given the evidence. Or should this by now be obvious, even to me? Deedle-dee-dee. Maybe I am too old to learn.

Saturday. The morning at the office moving computers and crap from the old lab to the new lab. It's a nice lab, this new lab, but it's a Saturday and I have broken my agreement (not to work on Saturdays). I drank half the bottle of sake last night and that was sensible of me, but probably something I don't want to repeat, at least until this evening when that half bottle, the little slut, will undoubtedly call my name. There are two movies due from Netflix later today, the evening should go well.

Oh, I did add another page to artandlife.
