Were Started

Sunday. A miserable night's sleep last night only to awaken a good half hour before the alarm was due to go off. Up without particular effort to drive to breakfast and back on another sunny, going to be warm day. Don't feel like going to Japantown for the Cherry Blossom Festival, although I seem to be physically fine: not tired, not aching, not whatever it might be I could use as an excuse not to attend.

We'll see soon enough, it's coming up on nine-thirty, probably best to take the ten o'clock bus this time, arrive earlier than I did yesterday when (maybe) the crowds won't be so large.

Good luck with that.

And the traffic in San Francisco, the subway construction, did I mention the slow moving traffic mess?

You don't have enough pictures for a web section yet.

Later. To Japantown we did go, catching the ten-thirty bus and arriving not long after eight to start shooting much as I did yesterday, although having arrived earlier the crowds were indeed smaller than they were yesterday. So good. Still difficult getting decent shots, but got enough to create one web section for artandlife.

I do feel pretty good, much better than I did on yesterday's adventure. My concerns after yesterday and getting not the best night's sleep last night have come to naught. How nice. Perplexing, but nice. We're still thinking more walking would be good in coming days, but the initial impetus has now been scaled back. Probably not good. We'll see how it goes as my history with such is not the best.

And so it's been. Yes, somewhat tired after a day's shooting, but again, nothing over the top. The usual stuff. The afternoon spent working on the photographs and web pages while listening to whatever babble was playing in the background on the television set.

Evening. Nothing on television tonight so to bed early after, I'm sure, some time on the tablet. Haven't felt at all sleepy today, the one or two attempts at a nap pretty much failing as they were started.

The photo up top was taken at the The San Francisco Cherry Blossom Festival with a Nikon D4s mounted with a 70-200mm f 2.8 VR II Nikkor lens.
